Make Algoma Stronger Together

Our mission is to practice innovative philanthropy based in careful thought, strategic investment, social justice, and relevant giving. We believe that responsible stewardship of our environmental, social, cultural, and economic diversity will create lasting change and loving relations for generations to come.

We are a small but growing community foundation in Algoma Ontario, dedicated to strengthening our region through collaboration, equity, and local leadership.

As a working board, our members are hands-on champions of our mission, leading initiatives, building relationships, and helping ensure our operations and granting activities are well supported.

Board members commit approximately 12–15 hours per month, attend board meetings every other month, and participate in or lead a committee.
